SearchArena.com will SOON be offering our own fully searchable interoperable database. This database will include an AddURL section where you can submit your website. Once your site has been indexed into our upcoming database, the results of any searches performed will yield combined results of not only the supported engines but also the SearchArena database. Until this new database has been added, SearchArena will continue to function as a meta-search-only engine. Meta search engines differs from other search services in that they do not maintain any local database. Rather, they rely on the databases of various web-based sources... we search Google, AltaVista, MSN, LookSmart, Excite, Yahoo, Fat Brain, Amazon, News Hub, Moreover, ODP, MP3, Lycos MP3, Fast MP3, e-Music).

We trust multiple search engines more than any single engine in determining relevance to your search. We do not search engines which return results based on "paid positioning only" (different than pay-for-listing) in search results. These paid sites do not have to meet the same criteria for high listings as the other sites so the integrity of the results could be compromised. Pay-for-listing engines (just for inclusion into a database) give no positioning preference. Our upcoming database will not support pay-for-positioning.
